With over 25 years of experience in housing and mortgage finance across nonprofit and private sectors, I’ve built a career committed to advancing housing stability, financial literacy, and equitable access to homeownership. My work spans the fields of Section 8 management, elite mortgage underwriting, and community-centered advocacy—creating strategic pathways for underserved families to thrive.

As a Section 8 Manager, I oversaw more than 20 buildings across New York City and transformed housing protocols to protect tenants from displacement. Property managers under my leadership were prohibited from taking rent arrears clients directly to housing court. Instead, they provided arrears reports to me, enabling timely intervention through the HRA One-Shot Deal program. This approach prevented eviction, shelter entry, and housing court judgments that could damage credit reports and limit future housing options. I’ve worked with clients who have poor or no credit and past evictions—but who’ve paid rent consistently for years. These stories of resilience deserve advocacy, not discrimination.

Through partnerships with Housing Development Fund Corporations (HDFCs), I empowered voucher-holding tenants to access limited-equity co-op ownership opportunities—offering workshops on financial literacy, credit repair, and homeownership readiness to build long-term stability and generational wealth.

In the mortgage sector, I managed a monthly portfolio exceeding $200 million as a Mortgage Underwriter, supporting purchases, refinancing, and equity-building solutions. Later, I joined Bank of America’s Custom Private Mortgage Department as a Quality Assurance Analyst, auditing loan packages for elite and celebrity clientele before they reached the closing table. This specialized work helped the institution avoid legal errors, regulatory violations, and reputational risk—while ensuring a seamless experience for high-net-worth clients.

Despite the prestige of a six-figure corporate career, I made the intentional decision to pivot. I resigned from the mortgage industry to answer a higher calling—serving underserved communities through housing advocacy. With God’s blessing, I founded NOAHousing.org, a nonprofit dedicated to housing voucher placement, shelter-to-home transitions, and equitable access to affordable housing.

Since its launch, NOAHousing has helped over 200 sheltered individuals and families secure safe, stable homes—while continuing to fight systemic delays and unjust evictions that threaten the city’s most vulnerable residents. Our mission also includes helping renters become homeowners through federally funded first-time homebuyer grant programs, offering down payment assistance and financial education. Through exclusive buyer agent agreements, we guide clients from financial counseling to pre-approval, then present qualified home listings aligned to their goals—transforming temporary shelter into long-term generational stability.

To build capacity and deliver direct housing services, I obtained my New York State Real Estate License (#10401393887). This licensure enables NOAHousing Realty Group to operate as a fully integrated housing resource—serving clients through compliant rental placements, sales transactions, lease renewals, HRA recertifications, and subsidy program education. We leverage the full spectrum of New York City’s housing tools and programs to prevent eviction and preserve dignity, stability, and opportunity.

NOAHousing also prides itself on combining compassionate advocacy with cutting-edge technology. We utilize bilingual services, virtual accessibility platforms, and cloud-based CRM systems like SkySlope and BoldTrail to ensure every transaction is transparent, audit-ready, and tailored to each client’s journey.

I bring a unique and deeply informed perspective to real estate—merging expertise in affordable housing, mortgage compliance, and Section 8 operations with the heart of a community advocate. Whether guiding voucher holders, navigating sales transactions, or preparing renters for homeownership, I lead with empathy, precision, and integrity.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more dedicated, energetic, and mission-driven professional committed to helping you reach your housing goals.
